Discussion with the Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Bill Moran

  • United States Navy Memorial Washington, DC 20004 701 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest Washington, DC, 20004 United States (map)

Please join us for our first Bridge Wing Chat which will include a straightforward and honest discussion with the Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Bill Moran, about current Navy issues from preparation for blue water ops to retention and strategy.

Navy Memorial’s new “Bridge Wing Chats Series” will bring together Navy and DOD leaders in a series of events that will provide naval enthusiasts the opportunity to engage on current topics which have a strategic impact on the Navy, maritime dominance and national security, today and tomorrow.

The name “Bridge Wing Chats” represents conversations that are held every day and every night on bridge wings of ships at sea between senior, “salty” leaders and less experienced, more junior Sailors in which wisdom is passed, experiences are shared, and intellectual horizons are broadened.

The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a brief pre-event reception and the program will begin in the Arleigh Burke Theater at 7:00pm. Following the program, you are invited to join us for a reception with the speaker and fellow attendees to further the discussion. Cigars will be available for attendees who would like to have the full bridge wing experience.
